List renumbers after deleting a line from list due to design.
Cause:
By default, Word 7.0 automatically renumbers a list when a line or paragraph is added to or deleted from the list.
Solution:
Select the text from which the numbering is to be removed, display the Shortcut menu, select 'Skip Numbering'.
1) Select the paragraph from which the numbering is to be removed.
2) Click on the selected text with the RIGHT mouse button to display the Shortcut menu.
3) Select 'Skip Numbering'. (The number preceding the paragraph will disappear and the list will be renumbered.)
